Owning a home is a great responsibility. Many homes in our area are not on city water, but have their own private well. Testing your water and making sure it is safe to drink is up to you!

Brooks is able to provide all sorts of tests for your Well Water. We have two main tests that we base off of Health Department regulations.

Full Potability Testing -  This test is complete potability test.  This test is recommended by the CT DPH to be done every 1-2 years, and it includes the following;

Bacteria - Total Coliform Bacteria, E. Coli, Chlorine

Physical – pH, Turbidity, Odor, Color

Chemical – Nitrate, Nitrite, Chloride, Hardness, Sulfate, Iron, Manganese, Calcium, Fluoride, Magnesium, Sodium, Copper

Standard Profile - $300 – This complete Package is $300 is a great package deal and recommended by the CT DPH to be done every 5-6 years. In addition to all the tests included in the full potability, this comprehensive test also includes the following;
 

Arsenic, Uranium, Lead, and Radon

How to get your Water Tested?
 

It is pretty simple! Stop by our office at 9 Isaac Street, Norwalk, CT. We will provide you with some sterile bottles, instructions for how to collect the water, and then you can go fill them up. Once returned it usually takes 4-5 business days for your results to be sent by email.
