Keith Brooks
Keith Brooks holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Duke University with additional studies in industrial hygiene and science. Following a tour as a U.S. Naval Officer, he spent eight years as a Safety Engineer with United States Steel. He worked in industrial relations with American Standard, the Chemstrand Corporation and St. Regis Paper Company before starting Brooks Enviro in 1971.

While Mr. Brooks was corporate manager of safety and employee relations at Chemstrand, the company set a world record for injury-free man-hours in the synthetic fiber industry. Later he established a safety incentive program, which set a company all-time record in the baking industry.
​
Mr. Brooks is a Certified Safety Professional Emeritus - examination certified by the Board of the American Society of Safety Engineers. He has Asbestos Building Inspector, Management Planner and Contractor Supervisor qualifications as well.

Margaret Y. Brooks,
Margaret Brooks holds a Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the University of Connecticut, and an M.S. from the University of Bridgeport and a B.A. from Western Connecticut State College.
After a career in cancer research at Sloan Kettering Institute, Walker Laboratory, in 1976 she joined the company as a consultant in industrial hygiene and analytical methods.

In 1984, she organized the company's analytical chemistry laboratory. The laboratory offered analytical support to consulting activities in indoor air quality, asbestos management, environmental site assessment and remediation, OSHA and EPA monitoring requirements, and real estate transfers.

Kalonji Diyoka
Kalonji Diyoka holds a Bachelor of Science, Chemical/Material Engineering Degree from the University of Connecticut. He has over twenty years of environmental experience.

At Brooks Enviro he works as an environmental consultant. He is proficient in atomic absorption, microscopy, and gas chromatography. In administration he is involved in financial matters, pricing, and marketing.
​
Mr. Diyoka is licensed by the State of Connecticut as an Asbestos Building Inspector. He is also certified as Project Monitor, Hazardous waste Operator, and has completed the requirements of the USEPA Radon Management Proficiency Program.
PE, LEP - Contractor
Theodore J. Stevens
Theodore J. Stevens holds a B.A. degree in geology from Wesleyan University, and an M.S. degree in environmental engineering from the University of New Haven. He studied civil engineering, also, at the University of New Haven.

Prior to forming his own consulting company in 1998, he worked in the capacities of geologist, hydrogeologist, engineer, environmental analyst and construction manager for several companies and the government, including the Connecticut DEP and regional water authority.
​
He became a Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP) in the State of Connecticut in 1986, and Licensed Professional Engineer (PE), also in Connecticut, in 1987.
Mr. Stevens serves Brooks Enviro on those projects requiring a Licensed Environmental Professional, and, occasionally, as a Licensed Professional Engineer. He brings to our clients benefits of over thirty years experience in environmental consulting specializing in site assessments and remediation.

Michael Zubarev
Michael Zubarev holds a Bachelor's degree in chemistry from Latvia University. He took courses, also , at the University of Organic Syntheses in applied instrumental chromatography.

Before coming to the United States, he worked as Laboratory Assistant at Riga Chemical College and at a military hospital in Estonia for five years.
His experience included work on waste water analysis, determination of metals, pesticides and oil products in soil and air. His skills include IR Spectrophotometry, UV Spectrometry, GC-HPLC and XRF.

He is fluent in Russian and Czech Languages.
​
Mr. Zubarev began as a Laboratory Chemist with Brooks Enviro specializing in atomic absorption analysis, working also as a consultant in lead detection, indoor air quality and water quality.

B.S. - Managing Member
Long Thai,
Long Thai joined Brooks Environmental Consulting in 2016 as a consultant and office manager. He is a native of Viet Nam who came to this country as a child with his family.
Long has a bachelor of science degree in Electrical Engineering from the New York Institute of Technology, and has done graduate study toward his Master's Degree in Environmental Technology. He has had training in wastewater treatment, groundwater hydrology, hazardous waste remediation, solid waste management, waste to energy conversion air pollution, toxicology, OSHA and RCRA.
Before coming to Brooks Environmental, he worked for two other environmental companies and was responsible for overseeing several large soil and ground water remediation projects. We consider Long to be a great asset to the Company. Long is our Managing Member who enhances our ability to do Phase II and Phase III work for real estate transactions.

Thomas McNamara
Thomas McNamara has been with Brooks since the start of 2018! Born and raised in Stamford, Thomas loves to work in Connecticut. In 2013 he graduated from UConn with a degree in Accounting. He has a passion for watching sports, playing video games, and sightseeing around CT. When on the job he helps with our accounting and running the office while the others are out in the field. Thomas will do whatever it takes to make a client happy!
​Thomas also works hard outside of Brooks. On weekends he helps his neighbor with his landscaping business. And he is also a business owner himself! Thomas has recently opened his own vending machine business. Every week he buys products, fills his machines, and makes sure they are all working properly. There is always work that needs to be done!
